According to the investigation, during a conflict over loud Russian music, he drew a weapon, threatened people, and fired three unaimed shots. The pre-trial investigation established that in early May 2026, a conflict arose between a man who was at that time a sitting judge of the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv and other people in the courtyard of a building. The servant of Themis was reprimanded for loudly listening to Russian music. In response to the reprimand, the judge reacted with obscene language, got out of the car with a weapon, demonstratively made it ready for combat, and pointed it at his opponents. At the same time, he did not respond to any requests from people to calm down.
One of the men knocked the accused to the ground to take the weapon, but he managed to fire three unaimed shots, creating a real threat to the life and health of people who were nearby and witnessed the conflict.
Currently, the pre-trial investigation has been completed. The indictment has been sent to court.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 3 to 7 years.
