Over the past day, Russian troops launched more than 1,300 strikes in the Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, five civilians were killed and another 12 people were injured. This was reported on Saturday by the National Police of Ukraine, reports UNN.

According to law enforcement, on July 3, the Russians carried out 1,356 strikes along the front line and in the residential sector. 89 civilian objects were damaged, including 68 residential buildings.

"Druzhkivka suffered the most, where the occupiers struck with four KAB-250 aerial bombs and four FPV drones. As a result of the attack, two people were killed and another eight were injured," the statement reads.

In Sloviansk, one person died as a result of Russian shelling. Another civilian died in Petrivka Persha after a strike by two KAB-250 aerial bombs, and in Semenivka, a civilian was killed by an FPV drone.

Kramatorsk suffered eight attacks, resulting in two people being wounded. Two more civilians were injured in Bilozerske.

In addition, the police obtained information about another deceased civilian in Druzhkivka, who died during a Russian bomb strike on July 2.

For all shelling incidents, the police and the SBU have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
