They also discussed the transfer of the church to the community of the Roman Catholic parish of St. Nicholas in Kyiv.

I emphasize that there are currently no legal obstacles to saving the church from destruction, and there are no obstacles to the worship services of the religious community of St. Nicholas parish. The issue of transferring the church to the community is a parallel process. It does not affect the possibility of restoring the monument,

- emphasized Natalia Voitseshchuk, Head of the Permitting and Approval Department of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.

She noted that the MCIP is taking all measures to transfer the building for permanent free use of the Church of St. Nicholas in Kyiv to the religious community of the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). The Ministry hopes that by May the necessary changes to the legislation will be made.

In particular, the ministry hopes that by May the necessary changes will be made to the legislation. According to the report, the church will be transferred to the community after the State Enterprise "National House of Organ and Chamber Music of Ukraine" moves from the church to the premises of the wing of the International Center of Culture and Arts of the Federation of Trade Unions, where the House of Music will be created.

This is the most complicated issue, as the complex of buildings of the International Center of Culture and Arts of the Federation of Trade Unions at 1 Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv has been seized by the court. Due to the criminal proceedings and court proceedings, the process of transferring the wing building of the International Center of Culture and Arts of the Federation of Trade Unions for further reconstruction and adaptation to the needs of a state organization has been suspended until the disputes are resolved,

- the statement reads.

In addition, the ministry representative noted that another important point is the return of crosses to the shrine, because "any monument that has religious significance has crosses because it is its symbol.

Recall
