Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov, a member of Putin's inner circle, has been served with a new suspicion for encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, war propaganda and calls for the destruction of Ukraine.
The Security Service has collected new evidence of the subversive activities of Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov, who headed Putin's "election headquarters and promotes an aggressive war against Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the SBU, UNN reports .

The defendant is a member of Putin's inner circle and is one of the main headliners of mass rallies in Moscow in support of Russia's full-scale invasion. Given this, in December 2023, Mashkov was appointed co-chairman of Putin's "election headquarters" in the so-called presidential elections in the aggressor country. In this "position", the defendant became a key propaganda mouthpiece in the Kremlin leader's "election campaign".
According to the investigation, Mashkov publicly calls for support for Russian occupation groups fighting against Ukraine. He also personally justifies the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the seizure of part of our country's territory,
Mashkov regularly repeats his destructive rhetoric during his "election" tours in different regions of Russia, as well as during his trips to the temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine. For the most part, such propaganda speeches of the racist take place in the form of "concerts-meetings" and "meetings with voters.
The SBU-initiated examinations confirmed the facts of his subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.
Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators additionally served Mashkov a notice of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: ч. 2, Art. 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine); Art. 436 (propaganda of war).
Addendum
In May 2023, the SBU served Mashkov with a notice of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The indictment on these facts has already been sent to court.
Since the offender is in Russia, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against our country.

On October 31 last year, the Security Service of Ukraine reported on Tuesday that it had served a notice of suspicion to Russian singer Yulia Chicherina, who had threatened Ukrainians with Siberian concentration camps.
