Government sets additional payment of UAH 70 thousand for soldiers on the first line - Shmyhal

The Ukrainian government has established an additional payment of UAH 70,000 for military and police officers performing combat missions on the front line. The one-time payment will be charged for every 30 days of such missions.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution to establish a 70,000 hryvnia surcharge for military and police officers performing combat missions on the first line, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on Friday, UNN reports

We continue to support our Defense Forces. Following the joint initiative of the Verkhovna Rada and the Government, today we have established a supplement of UAH 70 thousand for servicemen and police officers performing combat missions on the first line

According to him, a one-time remuneration will be charged for every 30 days of performing such tasks.

He also indicated that the government will continue to take care of our soldiers who are defending the country and the homes of millions of Ukrainians.

On April 11, the parliament approved a resolutionobliging the government to support a resolution on additional payments for the frontline soldiers of the Defense Forces and to prepare a draft law on rotation.
