Global stock markets have been falling for the third day in a row as US Treasury yields rose above 4.5%. The S&P 500 index declined across all sectors after the Fed warned of slower rate cuts.

World stock markets are falling for the third consecutive time due to rising US Treasury yields. This is reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

On Monday, global stock markets suffered another decline as investors took profits at the end of the year. This happened against the backdrop of a recent rise in the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds, which exceeded 4.5%. Such trends have increased concerns about the overvaluation of stocks in the market.

On Wall Street, major indices ended the day with significant losses. The S&P 500, along with other key indicators, showed a decline in all 11 major sectors, in particular due to the decline in discretionary consumption stocks. Investors were reacting to the Federal Reserve's warning of slower interest rate cuts announced on December 18.
