Georgian volunteer killed by homemade drone explosion in Kherson region

A 24-year-old Georgian fighter Levan Lokhishvili has been killed in an explosion of an enemy drone in Kherson Region. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 74 Georgian volunteers have been killed.
In the war in Ukraine died a Georgian fighter 24-year-old Levan Lokhishvili. This is reported by Radio Liberty with reference to his battle comrade Alexander Rogava, reports UNN.

It is reported that Levan Lokhishvili died on November 19 in Kherson region, during the explosion of a homemade drone.
We were working to prepare reconnaissance and observation positions. We had been working for an hour and we heard the sound of a drone, a so-called homemade drone. We waited for a while, however at some point the drone hit Levan. There were four of us. Levan died on the spot. Another fighter was hit by a piece of the drone and injured. Another was concussed
Levan Lokhishvili was a serviceman of the third company of the 220th battalion of the 126th Odessa Brigade. This group consists mainly of volunteers. He arrived in Ukraine on March 29, 2022. Before coming to Ukraine, he worked as a cook.
A year later Levan returned to Georgia for a while, but in the spring of 2024 he decided to go to Ukraine again.

On November 8, another Georgian fighter, 26-year-old Zurab Shvangiradze, died in Ukraine. He was buried on November 19 in Tbilisi.
Since the first days of the war, several hundred (according to unofficial information, up to 2,000) Georgian volunteers have been fighting in Ukraine. They are enrolled in different battalions and participate in combat operations on the front line.
From February 2022 to the present, 74 Georgian fighters have died in Ukraine.

Retired U.S. Marine Sergeant Corey Navrotsky, 41, died on October 27 on the border with the Bryansk region. The 20-year veteran joined Ukrainian forces in September of this year.
