General Staff on the situation at the front: the number of enemy attacks reached 87, the enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector

Today, the number of enemy attacks at the front has reached 87. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where 34 attacks were made, 24 of which have already been repelled by the Ukrainian military. In the Toretsk sector, 14 attacks were recorded, with New York, Nelipivka, Toretsk and Zalizne in the enemy's sights, UNN reports with reference to the General Staff's summary as of 16:00.

The enemy does not stop putting pressure on our troops and attempts to advance into the depths of Ukraine's territory. The defense forces continue to fight the invaders, inflicting significant losses on them. As of today, the number of enemy attacks is 87. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovske direction, where it conducted more than a third of all attacks  

In addition, according to the General Staff, the border areas of Sumy region continue to suffer from Russian artillery shelling. In particular, the settlements of Bachivsk, Mykhailivske, Ryasne, and Pokrovka were hit by artillery fire. The enemy also fired twice at Slavhorod from multiple rocket launchers.

Today in the Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our troops six times in the areas of Vovchansk and Lypky. Two firefights are currently taking place in Vovchansk.

The enemy attacked our positions six times in the Kupyansk sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka and in the direction of Lozova and Novoosynove. One firefight is still ongoing.

In the Liman sector, enemy units, supported by aviation, continue to attack in the areas of Makiivka, Novosadove, Hrekivka and Dibrova. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled nine enemy attacks in this area. The situation is under control.

Fighting continues in the Siverskyi sector, the enemy is attacking near Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka and Pereizne, the occupants tried to break through our defense four times, dropping seven aerial bombs on Serebryanka and Verkhnekamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the invaders conducted three assault operations near Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka. They also launched unguided aerial missiles in the area of Hryhorivka and Chasovyi Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, the number of enemy attacks currently stands at 14. Today, the enemy is attacking near the settlements of New York, Nelipivka, Toretsk and Zalizne. Our defenders are giving the enemy a worthy rebuff, 13 combat engagements have already been completed and the battle is ongoing. The aggressor's aviation struck Druzhba with unguided aerial missiles and Toretsk and Nelipivka with eleven anti-aircraft missiles.

The largest number of combat engagements was registered in the Pokrovsk sector . Thus, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already made 34 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Mykhailivka, Kalynivka, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, Ptychy, Skuchne and attacked towards Zelene Pole. The defense forces have already repelled 24 enemy attacks, and ten combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, the invaders attacked our units seven times, trying to advance near Kostyantynivka, Krasnohorivka and Karlivka. 

In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders unsuccessfully attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops once.

In the Orikhivsk sector, Novoyakovlivka and Novopavlivka were hit by UAVs and Novoandriivka and Lobkove were hit by unguided aerial missiles. At the same time, enemy units tried to advance in the direction of Novodanilivka, without success.

In the Prydniprovsky sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks.
