There were 130 combat engagements over the last day. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovske, Toretske and Kharkiv sectors, with the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelling numerous enemy attacks and striking at their positions.

There were 130 combat engagements in the frontline yesterday. Russian troops continue to actively attack in the Pokrovske and Toretske directions. The situation was also "hot" in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv sector, where 12 battles took place. This is stated in the report of the General Staff as of 8:00 a.m. on July 19, UNN reports.

According to the updated information of the General Staff, yesterday the enemy launched three missile attacks with four missiles at the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, 73 air strikes, using, in particular, 101 combat aircraft. In addition, they fired 4,675 times, 139 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.

Yesterday, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted 16 strikes on the enemy's military equipment and manpower, destroying two command posts, two air defense facilities, four radar and electronic warfare stations.

According to the General Staff, the situation is as follows:

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy continued offensive and assault operations. There were 12 combat engagements in the area. All of them took place in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. The occupants were actively using bombers for attacks.

In the Kupyansk sector, the number of attacks amounted to 11 over the last day. Defense forces repelled all enemy assaults near Sinkivka, Stelmakhivka and Berestove.

In the Liman sector, our troops stopped 14 occupants' attacks near Makiivka, Nevske, Torske and Terny.

In the Northern sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five assault attacks. The enemy tried to advance near Pereyizne, Spirne and Vyymka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped six enemy attempts to break through our defense. The occupants, supported by aviation, made their main efforts in the area of Chasovyi Yar.

Yesterday, the invaders continued to be active in the Toretsk sector. In total, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 20 times in the areas of Pivnichne, Toretsk and New York. They carried out air strikes with anti-aircraft gunships and unguided aerial missiles.

In the Pokrovsky sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 27 assaults and attacks in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Umanske and Yasnobrodivka, where the invaders, supported by aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Defense Forces stopped enemy attacks near Krasnohorivka and Paraskoviyivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 15 times.

In the Orikhivsk sector, six combat engagements took place in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka, the enemy did not succeed.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the enemy keeps trying to drive our units from their positions. Three aggressor attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the occupiers maintain a military presence, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities in Ukraine.

Fighting continues along almost the entire contact line. Ukrainian soldiers are holding back enemy attacks. Our artillery, reconnaissance, aviation and unmanned systems are working to deplete the enemy's forces
