A massive explosion has occurred at a gas distribution hub near Alushta in occupied Crimea, causing a large fire that emergency services are trying to localize.
In the evening of July 6, a fire broke out in the occupied Crimea's Alushta district after a powerful explosion at a gas distribution hub. This was reported by Russian media and the Crimean Wind Telegram channel, UNN reports .

It is noted that a gas distribution unit is on fire near Alushta, and rescuers and foresters are working at the scene to prevent the fire from spreading.
The occupying head of Alushta, Galina Ogneva, said that gas supply to 14 settlements in the Alushta area was suspended due to a fire. According to her, the fire could lead to a complete gas cutoff.
At the same time, according to social media, a powerful explosion occurred between the villages of Maly Mayak and Vynohradny in Alushta district and a fire started, probably on a gas main.
