Yermak was released from the pre-trial detention center on 140 million hryvnias bail and denied any guilt. He stated his intention to remain in Ukraine and assist the military.

Former Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak assured that he "has not fled anywhere and does not intend to," and remains in Ukraine, UNN reports.

He hinted that he does not know everyone who posted bail for him.

On May 14, 2026, a HACC judge ordered detention for former Head of the Presidential Office Yermak with the possibility of 140 million UAH bail. SAPO prosecutors requested the amount be set at 180 million hryvnias.
Yermak is a suspect in a case involving the legalization of 460 million UAH in elite construction near Kyiv.
