
Former head of Khmelnytskyi MSEC was left under arrest, but the bail was reduced

HACC extended the detention of Tetiana Krupa, but reduced the bail to UAH 230 million.
The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of Tetyana Krupa, the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC, until May 18 and reduced the bail for her from UAH 260 million to UAH 230 million. This was reported by UNN with reference to the court.
On Thursday, March 20, the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the SAP prosecutor and extended the preventive measure in the form of detention for the former head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission for a period of 60 days (until May 18, 2025 inclusive).
As an alternative, the suspect was given a bail of UAH 230 million.
If bail is posted, the suspect is obliged to: arrive at the request of a detective, prosecutor, investigating judge, court; not to leave the borders of Khmelnytskyi without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor or court; refrain from communicating with a number of persons on issues related to the circumstances of the criminal proceedings; notify the investigator, prosecutor or court of a change of residence; submit to the authorized body his passport for traveling abroad, other documents that give the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine.

MSEC official Tetyana Krupa and her son, the head of the regional PFU department in Khmelnytskyi region, were exposed to illegal enrichment worth millions of dollars.
During the searches, they found almost 6 million US dollars in various currencies in cash.
On October 5, law enforcement officers detained her and informed her of suspicion of illegal enrichment.
On October 7, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv took her into custody with the possibility of posting bail of 500 million hryvnias.
Then the bail was reduced to 300 million hryvnias.
In January, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court reduced the bail of Tetyana Krupa, the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC, to UAH 260 million.
