The first passengers and crew of the MV Hondius – a cruise liner that became the epicenter of a hantavirus outbreak – have disembarked in Tenerife, UNN reports, citing Sky News.

The vessel arrived on the island this morning, concluding a journey that began in southern Argentina on April 1. During this time, two passengers died on board. It is reported that all 149 people on board, 22 of whom are British, showed no symptoms of the virus.
As part of the operation, individuals are being grouped by nationality, with Spanish citizens being the first to go ashore.
