Finland has approved the 26th package of defense assistance to Ukraine worth 25 million euros, including winter equipment. The total cost of Finnish aid reached 2.3 billion euros.
Finland has approved a new package of defense assistance to Ukraine worth 25 million euros. It contains, in particular, winter equipment for Ukrainian servicemen. About it UNN reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of defense of the country.

The decision on new assistance to Ukraine was made by the president of Finland at the suggestion of the government of the country on December 5. It is noted that this will be the 26th package of Defense Support. The equipment included in this batch will cost Finland approximately 25 million euros.
It is also reported that preparations are already underway for the next aid package, which will be implemented after the end of the year.
The total cost of Finnish defense equipment for Ukraine is 2.3 billion euros. This time the package includes, in particular, winter equipment for Ukrainian troops. Finland is one of the strongest supporters of Ukraine, and this line does not change
Other details are not disclosed for security reasons, however, the ministry noted that they took into account both the needs of Ukraine and the resource situation of the Defense Forces.
