Slovak Prime Minister Fico stated that a peace agreement with Russia is impossible without Ukraine's consent. The country supports Kyiv's accession to the EU and is preparing a meeting in Yerevan.

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, following a conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that no peace agreement in the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is possible without the consent of the Ukrainian side, as he wrote on social media on Saturday, UNN reports.

"... I spoke by phone with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Despite the fact that we have different views on some issues, we share a common interest in good and friendly relations between the Slovak Republic and Ukraine. I confirmed that Slovakia supports Ukraine's ambitions to join the EU, as Slovakia wishes for Ukraine to be a stable and democratic country as our neighbor," Fico wrote.
According to the Slovak Prime Minister, the parties "agreed to meet briefly on Monday in Yerevan at the EPC summit, and that we will continue working in the format of joint government sessions, visiting each other in our countries' capitals."
I also emphasized that no peace agreement in the military conflict with the Russian Federation is possible without the consent of the Ukrainian side
