Favbet Foundation held festive competitions among children's clubs
Favbet Foundation continues to motivate Ukrainian children to play sports. On Christmas Eve, the foundation's team organized a series of festive competitions for pupils of sports schools in Kyiv. The event was supported by the Desnianskyi District Center for Physical Health in Kyiv and the Department of Youth and Sports of the Desnianskyi District State Administration.
The sports festival was attended by more than 100 children who play football and basketball as part of FC Vyhurivshchyna, KDUSSH-14, FC Stolytsia, and 5TEAM. In addition to friendly competitions, Favbet Foundation prepared an entertainment program and New Year's gifts for them.
"Sport not only develops physical qualities, but also gives new emotions and friends, strengthens character and teaches children to believe in themselves. For the Favbet Foundation team, it is important that Ukrainian children can play their favorite sports and unite around such useful and joyful events even in times of war," says Yevhen Bondar, project curator at Favbet Foundation.
The Favbet Foundation Christmas Cup tournaments are part of the Superheroes Club project, which focuses on opportunities for the comprehensive development of children of IDPs and military personnel, as well as young people from socially vulnerable groups.
As part of the project , the Favbet Foundation provided stationery to more than 5,500 Ukrainian schoolchildren, organized IT training for 350 children, and launched free football, basketball, wrestling, and boxing clubs.
