Europe at the negotiating table regarding the end of the war will be represented by France and Britain - Zelensky

Ukraine insists that Europe, represented by France and Great Britain, should be at the negotiating table to end the war. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a press conference after meeting with the leaders of countries in Paris, reports UNN.

The position was clear on the things I have already said. Sanctions, investment in our domestic production, and in any case guaranteeing security for Ukraine, and participation in the future security guarantee system for Ukraine. Not a clear position on the contingent - a fact, because there is no infrastructure yet, but there is definitely a desire, and with each such meeting the position is stronger and clearer. For example, it seems to me an important point, we have not talked about it today... the Ukrainian position is quite clear that Europe should be at the negotiating table to end the war. We do not consider alternatives, this is our clear position

- said Zelenskyy.

He emphasized that Europe should have clear representation at the negotiating table.

Today we all agreed that Europe will be represented by France and Great Britain. Macron and Starmer. I think this is also important. This is a clear position. We want to send this signal to all other partners, especially the United States. I think that each of these summits, meetings will more clearly show our next steps

- added Zelenskyy.

Reminder

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the United States can really influence the cessation of the war and the desire of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
