Reflecting on the history of Europe, she said that the difference between the beginning of World War II and what is happening now was that Ukraine survived.

The prime minister called for EU countries to increase defense spending in order to increase the military potential of both Ukraine and Europe. She said that if the Ramstein states allocate only 0.25 percent of their GDP to military assistance to Ukraine, this will significantly outweigh Russia and "make a great contribution to the victory of Ukraine."

"Russia is afraid of war with NATO," she said, adding that Russia will not move further if it sees that Europe is strong.

When asked if she was concerned about the nuclear threat from Russia, the Estonian prime minister said: "This is done to intimidate us.
