Russian troops are trying to regroup near Hlyboke and are preparing assault groups to attack Vovchansk in the Kharkiv sector amid ongoing fighting in the area.
The Russian army is trying to regroup in the Kharkiv sector near Hlyboke and is preparing assault groups for attacks in Vovchansk. This was reported on Wednesday by the Kharkiv operational and tactical group, UNN reports.
The enemy is trying to regroup its assault groups from the 155th brigade of the TOTF and the 18th sept of the 11th AC near Hlyboke and is preparing assault groups from the 138th brigade of the 6th AC for attacks in Vovchansk
Reportedly, seven combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv sector over the past 24 hours in the vicinity of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Since the beginning of July 17, the Defense Forces have repelled five enemy attacks. Three more clashes continued as of the morning.
According to the Kharkiv military unit, Ukrainian soldiers continue to take measures to strengthen defense resilience.
The enemy launched 1 missile strike and 20 air strikes (45 air strikes) in the area of Liptsy, Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Mali Prokhody, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and Vetarine towards the positions of our troops in the area of responsibility of the "Kharkiv" military unit .
The enemy also launched 49 strikes with kamikaze drones and carried out 446 attacks.
"Enemy losses (irrecoverable and sanitary) amounted to 102 people. In our direction, the enemy lost 3 tanks, 1 anti-tank vehicle, 7 artillery systems, 10 vehicles, 2 units of special equipment, 38 UAVs destroyed and damaged. Forty-nine shelters and two ammunition storage points were destroyed," the statement said.
