Enemy reduced the number of attacks in the Tavrian sector over the last two days - Stupun

Russian troops have somewhat reduced the number of attacks in the Tauride direction, but continue to carry out active infantry attacks and artillery shelling. This was reported by the spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Oleksandr Stupun, UNN reports .

This week, for three days in a row, the enemy carried out about 80 assault actions daily, the vast majority of them in Donetsk region. Assault groups of up to 20 people mostly operate with the support of armored vehicles. From time to time, the enemy tries to advance. According to him, the occupiers are trying to get into the settlements by any means possible before the onset of more frost.

And one of the reasons is that it is much easier to spend the winter even in ruins than in a clean field, so they are trying to accomplish this task. This applies to Avdiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka and a number of other settlements that are close to the contact line,

Stupun added that yesterday the Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks in the area of Stepove, Avdiivka and Novobakhmutivka, and another 13 attacks in the Nevelske and Pervomayske areas.

In the Maryinka sector, the enemy is storming and attacking three localities - Maryinka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka. We repelled 12 attacks there and the same number in Zaporizhzhia, west of Novopokrovka and Robotyne,
