"July 8 was a tragic date for Metinvest. Our colleagues were killed in a cynical Russian missile attack on civilian and industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih," the company said in a statement.
The company expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and promised to provide comprehensive assistance.
Ukrainian media report that the strike killed 10 people and injured more than 30. A Russian missile hit the administrative building of the Northern GOK, which belongs to the Metinvest group.

On the morning of July 8, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia had launched missiles from Tu-95 bombers from the Olenia airfield. As a result, an air alert was declared throughout the country.
In addition to Kryvyi Rih, Russian missiles struck Kyiv, hitting the premises of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt", where casualties were also reported.
As of July 8, 33 people were killed and 140 injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on Ukrainian territory.
