163 defenders from Odesa region took advantage of the state program of affordable mortgage lending "eOselya", with the regional administration compensating more than UAH 1 million.
The state program for affordable mortgage lending to Ukrainian citizens, eOselya, is being implemented in Odesa region. The program was launched in August 2022, and 163 defenders from the region have benefited from it to date. The regional state administration compensated 3% per annum under the program in the amount of more than UAH 1 million. Oleksiy Dmytrenko, Director of the Department of Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of the Odesa Regional State Administration, told this on Channel 7, UNN reports.
"At the initiative of Oleg Kiper, a program to compensate 3% per annum on mortgage loans received under the state program eOselya was launched in October 2023. We launched this program in October and made the first payments in November.
The program is designed for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the State Border Guard Service, the State Emergency Service, and law enforcement officers who have already received loans under the eHouse program at 3% per annum. We compensate for this 3% monthly at the expense of the local budget.
In total, we have 163 participants and have already paid more than UAH 1 million in compensation at 3% per annum," he said.
Dmytrenko added that under the eHouse program, you can get a loan from Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrsibbank, and Ukrgasbank. Negotiations are currently underway with Sense Bank.
"The program does not stipulate the conditions for buying an apartment from a "callow". Within the framework of eOselya, either an apartment or property rights to an apartment are purchased, or an apartment in an already accredited residential complex is purchased.
According to Ukrfinzhytl, we currently have only 25 developers accredited across Ukraine in 64 houses, which is the primary market. Unfortunately, there are no developers in Odesa yet, but according to information from colleagues from banks, such work is underway and we will see the result in the next six months. And there will be much more opportunities under the eHouse program," he informs.
