Demand for gasoline cars decreased in Ukraine

Models with gasoline engines remain the most popular, accounting for 36.9% of June new car sales, which is almost 10 percentage points less than in June 2023.
At the same time, the share of diesel cars remained almost unchanged at 24.7%. The share of hybrids increased significantly from 18% to 22.9%.
The segment of electric vehicles also grew, from 10.5% to 15.2%. As in the previous year, cars with LPG accounted for less than 1% of new car sales.

Ukravtoprom said that the leading positions by segments were taken by:
- Gasoline cars - SUZUKI SX4;
- Diesel - RENAULT Duster;
- Hybrid - Toyota RAV-4;
- Electric - HONDA M-NV;
- Car with LPG - KIA Sportage.

In June, about 5.2 thousand new passenger cars were registered in Ukraine, which is8% less than last year.
