According to DeepState, on the first day of the offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces took control of the villages of Sverdlikovo, Daryino, and Oleshnya in the Kursk region. The Ukrainian military also surrounded Russian forces in several settlements.
According to the results of the first day of the "breakthrough" on Tuesday, August 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces could take control of the villages of Sverdlikovo, Daryino and Oleshnya in the Kursk region. This is reported by the DeepState portal, according to UNN.
The Defense Forces struck near Sverdlikovo and Oleshnya. The first village was taken as a result of a battle, and the second without a fight or with minimal effort,

Along with the capture of three settlements at the Sudzha checkpoint, Ukrainian troops surrounded about two platoons of Russians. The village of Hornal was also surrounded, as the local "garrison" tried to hide in an Orthodox church in fear. In addition, advanced groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reached Goncharivka and the outskirts of the town of Sudzha.
