The death toll from a rocket attack by Russian troops on Kyiv has risen to 32 people, 117 wounded, the National Police in the capital reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

In total, 117 people were injured during the enemy shelling of the capital, and 32 were tragically killed,

the Kyiv police reported on Telegram.

According to the police, one of the targets of the Russian army was the Okhmatdyt children's medical center, where children from all over Ukraine were treated. "As a result of the attack by the Russian military, two adults were killed: a doctor and a visitor to the medical center. Another 30 were injured, including 10 children," the police said.

More than 700 police officers were involved in the aftermath of the shelling, who, together with rescuers, the National Guard and residents of the city, were reportedly clearing the rubble, rescuing people, and documenting the crime of the aggressor state.

"The children have been taken to other medical institutions for further treatment," the police said.

"Also in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital, Russian terrorists completely hit a residential apartment building, the entrance of the building was completely destroyed. The rubble killed 12 residents, including three children aged 8 to 14, and injured 25 others," the police said.

"Nine people were killed and eight wounded in the Dnipro district of the capital as a result of a rocket attack on a medical center," law enforcement officials added.

"In total, 32 people were killed, including four children, as a result of yesterday's massive Russian attack on Kyiv. 117 citizens were injured," the police summarized.
