Customs officers found a hidden consignment of 855 kg of new clothes and shoes among second-hand goods

During the inspection of a truck from Hungary at the Tysa customs post, customs officers seized more than 3,250 pieces of new clothing and 737 pairs of shoes hidden under bales of second-hand clothes.
Customs officers detected an attempt to smuggle new clothes and shoes under the guise of a second-hand store. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

Ukrainian customs officers recorded an attempt to smuggle new clothes and shoes into the country from Hungary under the guise of a second-hand store.
During the inspection of a truck at the Tysa customs post on March 13, 57 bags (15 kg each) with more than 3,250 pieces of new clothing and 737 pairs of foreign-made shoes were found.
The goods, hidden in individual factory packaging under second-hand bales, were subjected to inspection.

Under Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, the documentation of the offense was initiated.
The hidden goods were seized pending a court decision, and their final value will be determined by an expert.
