Currency exchange rate as of April 24: hryvnia strengthened by 20 kopecks

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 39.5860 UAH/USD, which strengthened the hryvnia by 20 kopecks, UNN reports with reference to the NBU.

Details

The official dollar exchange rate is 39.58 UAH/USD.

The NBU has also set the official exchange rate of the euro to the hryvnia at 42.26 UAH/€. According to data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:

- The dollar can be bought for UAH 39.90 and sold for UAH 39.40 in banks. - The euro can be bought for UAH 42.90 and sold for UAH 42.20 in banks.

- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 39.74-39.85, and the euro at UAH 42.73-42.90.

- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are UAH 39.57-39.59 for the dollar and UAH 42.35-42.36 for the euro, respectively.

As of April 1, 2024, Ukraine had UAH 780.3 billion of cash in circulation, which is UAH 16 billion or 2.1% more than at the beginning of the yeardue to seasonal factors.
