Cooling with a significant drop in temperature will arrive before the end of the week - weather forecasters

The weather in Ukraine will freshen up by the end of the week - air temperatures will drop by 3-5 degrees, forecasters reported on Thursday, UNN writes.

On Friday, June 12, forecaster Natalka Didenko noted that a "luxurious spectrum of meteorological phenomena" can be observed in Ukraine. "There will be thunderstorms, squalls, occasional heavy downpours, heat up to +30, cooling down to +12, gale-force wind gusts, and even hail," she noted on social media.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, tomorrow, June 12, the west of the country will see heavy rain at night and moderate rain during the day, with local thunderstorms; the rest of the territory will be without precipitation at night, with moderate rain during the day, and heavy rain and thunderstorms in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions, with hail and squalls of 15-20 m/s in some areas; over the weekend, most regions will experience short-term rain and thunderstorms.

"Tomorrow, the temperature at night will be 10-18°, during the day 24-29°, in the west of the country 15-20°; on June 13-14 in Ukraine, except for the southeast, the temperature will decrease by 3-5°," the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center indicated.

"On Saturday and Sunday, the air will freshen up - in most regions of Ukraine - by a few more degrees. So for now, we are not counting on intense heat - a moderate, beautiful summer with unbeautiful mosquitoes," Didenko remarked.
