Modern fortifications are being built in Odesa region, including trenches, dugouts, shelters for personnel and equipment in accordance with military planning and engineering standards, as well as more than 5,000 concrete pyramids set up as vehicle traps.
Construction of fortifications continues in Odesa region. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, UNN reports.

He said that modern fortifications include a system of trenches, dugouts and other shelters for both personnel and equipment. He also stated that their construction is being carried out in accordance with military expediency, the Ministry of Defense's planning and engineering standards.
The trenches are protected from leakage by waterproofing, reinforced with wood and embankments. Concrete pyramids are traps for enemy vehicles. More than 5000 of them have been installed
