Cold-blooded terrorist attack on civilians – Sybiha, following the Russian strike on Merefa, reminded that Ukraine needs strengthened air defense
Kyiv • UNN
As a result of the Russian strike on Merefa, 7 people were killed and dozens more were injured. Andrii Sybiha called on the world to help Ukraine strengthen its air defense and put pressure on the aggressor.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called the Russian strike on Merefa in the Kharkiv region a "cold-blooded terrorist attack on civilians without any military justification," UNN reports.
Russia killed at least 6 people and wounded about two dozen more as a result of another deliberate strike on civilian infrastructure in the city of Merefa, Kharkiv region. This is a cold-blooded terrorist attack on civilians without any military justification – there are no military targets in the area of the strike
According to him, this is Russia's deliberate policy of terror against the people of Ukraine. Moscow is conducting a campaign of murder, destruction, and intimidation, fully aware of the crimes committed.
Every such strike is a direct consequence of insufficient pressure on the aggressor. Delay and indecision only encourage the Kremlin to kill even more civilians. This must be stopped. Ukraine urgently needs strengthened air defense capabilities, investments in the defense industry, and decisive steps to limit Russia's economic capacity to continue this war
The Foreign Minister noted that the inevitability of accountability must be ensured for everyone who planned, ordered, and carried out such attacks. They must be identified and held accountable.
There will be no safe haven, no immunity, no statute of limitations. Russia will answer for every life taken
