Chernihiv shooter detained - patrol police released video

Patrol officers detained a man for shooting into the air on Myru Avenue. The offender's pistol was seized, and proceedings were initiated under the article on hooliganism.

The Patrol Police of Ukraine published a video of the arrest of a man who opened fire in Chernihiv. This was reported by UNN.
Details
It is noted that around 5 p.m., a call was received on line 112 from a man who heard gunshots on Pyatnytska Street. It was also known that two men were moving along Myru Avenue, one of whom was holding an object resembling a pistol and firing shots into the air.
The police immediately identified the perpetrators. Patrol officers, together with special forces, began a search. While examining the surrounding area, they found two citizens, presumably involved in the incident, and immediately detained them. During a superficial check, inspectors found an object resembling a pistol on one of them. An investigative and operational group was called to the scene.
It is indicated that the investigators detained the man in accordance with Article 298-2 (Detention by an authorized official) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
