The Cabinet of Ministers has included magnetic resonance imaging scanners in the list of medical devices to be procured at public expense. The list of medicines for the treatment of multiple sclerosis has also been updated.
The Cabinet of Ministers has included magnetic resonance imaging scanners in the list of medical devices to be purchased at the expense of the state budget. This was announced by the government's permanent representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk, UNN reports.
Details
According to Melnychuk, amendments have been made to the list of medicines, medical devices and their auxiliary products procured at the expense of the state budget for the implementation of programs and centralized healthcare measures.
In the section "Procurement of equipment for healthcare facilities, in particular for cluster and supercluster healthcare facilities, healthcare facilities of the Ministry of Health and the State Administration of Affairs, as well as for equipping laboratories of the State Administration of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control, procurement of goods within the framework of the project on the establishment of laboratories for the synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals", the subsection "Procurement of equipment for healthcare facilities, in particular for cluster and supercluster healthcare facilities" was supplemented with the item "Magnetic resonance imaging system,
He added that the section "Medicines for the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis" was supplemented with a new nomenclature item.
Recall
The NHSU clarified the procedure for obtaining a free MRI of the brain for military and civilians. The examination is available upon a doctor's referral in institutions with a corresponding agreement.
