BP passes law on compensation for IDPs for destroyed housing

The Verkhovna Rada adopted draft law No. 11028 on compensation of IDPs for destroyed real estate. Single parents, people with disabilities, and families with two or more children were added to the priority categories.
The Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on compensation of IDPs for destroyed real estate. this was announced by people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reports UNN.
In general, No. 11028 on compensation for internally displaced persons for destroyed real estate was supported. za-288
It is reported that at the level of the law, the following categories of IDPs will have a priority right to receive compensation for destroyed real estate objects::
▪️have reached retirement age;
▪have a dependent child under the age of six;
▪️raise a child under the age of 14 without one of their spouses.
By the 2nd reading, the list of categories of IDP persons who have a priority right to receive compensation for destroyed real estate is being supplemented:
▪have two or more dependent children;
▪️are ' single mothers (fathers) raising a minor child without a father (mother);
▪️ are ' persons with disabilities of Group III;
▪️ have a dependent child under the age of six, are adoptive parents of the child, guardians or guardians of the child, foster carers, foster parents or parents-carers;
▪have a dependent child who suffers from serious illnesses.

Currently , there are 4.6 million internally displaced personsin Ukraine, of which only 1.5 million receive payments from the state.
