Singer-songwriter Clairo has been outspoken about her political views in recent months. On Inauguration Day, she tweeted "Hex on Trump as soon as possible" shortly after reporting that she voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.

He then turned his attention to the current administration.
"Now we have a President of the United States," he said, pausing as the audience booed loudly.
I agree. He believes that climate change is a hoax. He is dangerously wrong, and you and I will have to stand up to the fossil fuel industry and tell them to stop destroying this planet. All over the country, not in California or Vermont, where I come from, but in Florida, where Maxwell comes from, and in other states.
He also emphasized that politicians are trying to take away a woman's right to control her body.
We need you to stand up and fight for women's rights. Today we have an economy that works very well for the billionaire class, but not for working families. We need you to help us create an economy that works well for everyone, not just the one percent.
Sanders stressed that the US currently has a "broken health care system".
We are the only major country that does not guarantee health care to all people. We need you to stand up to insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies and understand that health care is a human right.
