We are currently finalizing the first experimental samples, testing them to launch small-scale production. In the near future, maybe in a month or two, we will start small-scale production."

The project manager said.

Details

He noted that they don't have many experimental samples yet.

"One was transferred earlier, it was, so to speak, a model of our robot, the other was transferred and then modernized. It is also in use now. And the third one is the one we will use to build a small-scale production on the basis of. We are now finalizing the work and plan to transfer it to the military as well," said the project manager.

He also said what exactly was modernized in the third sample of the robot, which will be used for small-scale production.

"We had tests, we checked it. There are improvements in cross-country ability, power, and sighting devices to improve the accuracy of the robot. In terms of communication, we have made certain upgrades to improve the quality of communication lines. Basically, in almost all areas of its characteristics," said the head.

In addition, the project manager spoke about the specifics of the use of the combat robot "Rage".

"We discussed it with the military, who are going to use and are already using similar systems on the battlefield. The basic concept is that this robot is inexpensive, as far as I understand, cheaper than its analogs. Its main goal, purpose, and application is to divert the enemy's attention to itself during some major military actions. It has small dimensions, which means it is difficult to notice and harder to hit," the project manager said.

According to him, the estimated cost of one robot can range from about $10 to $15 thousand.

"We are still formulating this cost. It depends on the configuration of the sighting devices that will be used. Whether a TV will be used or not, whether there will be a repeater or not. The cost, depending on these parameters, can range from 10 to 15 thousand dollars. These are very approximate figures, because we have not yet tested all the characteristics that we want to check with all these components," said the project manager.

Addendum

Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported on September 30 that the Ukrainian-made combat robot "Lyut" had successfully passed field tests.

In addition, Fedorov told a journalist of UNN that there is a pre-series production of the combat robot "Rage" and samples that are already being used at the front.
