Following the report of a fire at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Austrian Chancellor Karl Negammer called for de-escalation, he wrote in the social network X, UNN reports .

"Attacks on nuclear infrastructure are extremely dangerous and lead to an escalation of the situation. Today's incident at the Zaporizhzhya NPP underscores the important role of the IAEA and the need to continue the dialogue started at the peace summit in Burgenstock.
