Two crew members of the tanker Gas Lisbon reported that the vessel was attacked by three drones, causing severe damage. Despite the panic, the crew had to act quickly to rescue the wounded and evacuate the ship.

Two crew members of the tanker Gas Lisbon, which was struck off the coast of Romania in the Black Sea, told Digi24 the details of the attack. This was reported by UNN.

According to them, the vessel was attacked by three drones. Crew member from Georgia, Oleksandr Megrelidze, noted that the first moments were marked by a strong explosion.
I was in the cabin when the first strike occurred. It was a very strong impact on the starboard side. I went up on deck and saw that the living quarters were destroyed, as was the bridge. Everything was destroyed
According to him, despite the panic, the crew had to act quickly to rescue the wounded and evacuate the ship.
Of course, we were scared, but in such moments you have to keep your composure. The second officer was wounded in the neck and head and was bleeding profusely. The chief engineer also sustained serious injuries. We had to follow the emergency action plan. The commander and the senior officer coordinated the actions, and we evacuated the ship
In turn, the ship's chef, Alexander Arro Jr., describes the dramatic moments of that night as a shock.
"It was around 11:00 PM. We heard a loud explosion, the electricity went out, we smelled smoke. ... I think there were two drones, one reached the engine room, and the other - the living quarters. We were rescued four or five hours after the incident," added Arro.
