The issue of prisoner exchange according to the "all for all" formula is constantly raised at all negotiations, in particular, at the last negotiations in Jeddah, the humanitarian track was no less important than the security one. This was stated by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak in an address to the participants of the conference of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, reports UNN.

It is noted that a conference dedicated to the third anniversary of the creation of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War was held at the Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.

The event was attended by: Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Vereshchuk, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, released prisoners of war, members of their families, representatives of силових структур, international organizations and civil society.

During his speech, Andriy Yermak stressed that the creation of the headquarters became an important institutional response of the state to the new challenges associated with mass cases of captivity of Ukrainian military and civilians.

It was a decision of the heart and responsibility. The decision of the state, which firmly stated: we are fighting for every Ukrainian. We do not abandon our own. These are not just words – it is a principle that Ukraine strictly adheres to in the conditions of a great war

Separately, Andriy Yermak stressed the importance of promoting the humanitarian track in international negotiations.

According to the head of the Office of the President, thanks to the coordinated work of the headquarters and international support, Ukraine continues to return its citizens and consistently keeps this area in the focus of the global agenda.
