According to Russian media, the explosion occurred in a residential area on Stoletov Avenue. According to preliminary reports from "Baza" and Mash, the explosive device was placed in a trash bin next to a bench. The "VChK-OGPU" Telegram channel writes that the victim was naval officer Robert Shageev. The "112" Telegram channel reports that a first-rank captain was killed in the explosion. The channel does not give his name.
The monitoring Telegram channel "Crimean Wind" states that, according to its source, "a former military submariner was blown up on Stoletov Avenue in Sevastopol." "The man was walking down outdoor steps when an explosive device went off nearby," the report says, also adding that "information has emerged that a Ukrainian traitor, former commander of the Ukrainian submarine 'Zaporizhzhia,' Robert Shageev, was eliminated in Sevastopol."
