The majority of Poles (42.6%) support the position of the country's president, Karol Nawrocki, regarding the conflict with Ukraine. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by SW Research for the Polish publication Onet, reports UNN.

It is noted that the position of the Polish government (Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski) is approved by 32.5% of respondents.

At the same time, 14.6% did not express an opinion in favor of either side, and 10.4% are not interested in this topic.

Context

Polish President Karol Nawrocki decided to strip Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of the Order of the White Eagle and emphasized that there are limits in Polish-Ukrainian relations that cannot be crossed.

The decision was made after Nawrocki stated that he is critical of Zelenskyy's decision to name a Ukrainian special operations unit after the "Heroes of the UPA".

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the dispute between the presidents of Poland and Ukraine, Karol Nawrocki and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stating that the escalation of the conflict is primarily beneficial to russia.
