The High Council of Justice has suspended all four judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal suspected of taking a $35,000 bribe.

All four suspects in the case of bribery of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal have been suspended from the administration of justice, the SAPO reported, UNN writes.

"On December 29, 2023, the High Council of Justice suspended from the administration of justice in connection with the prosecution of the fourth judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, who, along with three other judges of the same court, is suspected of receiving an undue benefit of $35 thousand. He is suspected of receiving an undue benefit in the amount of USD 35 thousand for making a decision to cancel the seizure of property," the SAPO said in a Telegram post.

The term of suspension is until January 30, 2024.

"As of today, all four suspected judges have been removed from the administration of justice," the SAPO said.

Four judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal, who were caught taking bribes to lift the seizure of a private company's property, have been  notified of suspicion.

These are Yuriy Slyva, Viktor Hlynyanyi, Ihor Palenyk and Viacheslav Dziubin.
