Al Arabiya sources also indicated that "a breakthrough in the situation regarding the vessels stuck in the strait is expected in the coming hours."
A Pakistani source told Al Arabiya that "Iran may provide its response to the American proposal to the Pakistani mediator today."
The Pakistani source also told the publication that "so far, no agreements have been reached regarding any direct meetings between the Iranians and the Americans."
Furthermore, the Pakistani source told Al Arabiya that "the US President requested a swift response from Iran to the American proposal."
As the publication writes, citing a Pakistani source, "communication with the Iranians continues, and there are no obstacles preventing the continuation of dialogue."
The Pakistani source also told Al Arabiya that "discussions regarding the situation in the Strait of Hormuz are ongoing, and reaching an agreement is still possible."
