“About 600 thousand": GUR names the number of Russian troops in Ukraine

Currently, there are about 600,000 Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine. This was reported by a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov in an interview with Novosti.Live, UNN reports.

"About 600 thousand," Yusov said in response to question about the number of "Russian army in our territories that they occupied.

Yusov reported on the Putin regime's order to increase the number of Russian army personnel once again. According to him, this is the third time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

"However, at present, the recruitment mobilization measures taken by the enemy are aimed primarily at replenishing the losses suffered by the aggressor on the territory of Ukraine during its occupation invasion, because the losses are enormous and tend to increase," Yusov emphasized.

He also added that the enemy is currently aiming to demotivate and intimidate Ukrainians by the fact that the Russian army is larger. 

"But now we state that this is primarily a fairly stable figure over the past year, and the replenishment that is taking place is once again  replenishment of the existing enemy losses," the military said.

According to the GUR, Russia has about 1,400 long-range missiles of various types in its stockpile and is capable of producing up to 150 new missiles per month, but production is critically dependent on foreign components.
