A shower head and a gas chamber bolt were stolen from the Dachau concentration camp museum. In another former concentration camp near Flossenburg, some artifacts have also gone missing, and police are investigating.
The Bavarian Museums Administration reported that in early July, a model of a shower head through which lethal gas was supplied to one of the Dachau barracks disappeared. The gas chamber latch, which was used to lock prisoners before they were killed, also disappeared. This was reported by BILD, according to UNN.
