Traffic has resumed on the section of the Kyiv Ring Road between Zhulianskyi overpass and Vyshneve after road works, including the construction of a new storm sewer and road surface renovation. Major repairs on this section will continue in 2024.

Traffic on the section of the Ring Road from the Zhulianskyi overpass to the turn to Vyshneve has been restored in Kyiv. This was reported by the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration, UNN reports.

As part of the overhaul, the road builders laid 1.5 km of new stormwater engineering networks in a short period of time. Also, to ensure road safety for Kyiv residents and residents of the capital's suburbs, specialists have arranged a new road surface - a roadway structure

Starting in 2024, Kyiv road builders plan to continue overhauling the Ring Road along this section.

Recall

In 2021, work began on the renovation of the Ring Road. The first stage was a major overhaul on the section from Vatutina Street to Odeska Square, which was completed in the summer of 2023.
