The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has appointed Vitaliy Polovenko as Deputy Minister of Defense to oversee logistics with a focus on developing new standards for food supply and ensuring full logistical support for soldiers on the front line.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Vitaliy Polovenko as the new Deputy Minister of Defense Vitaliy Polovenko. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.

Details

It is specified that Vitaliy Polovenko will be responsible for logistics.

The priority areas of his work are the development and implementation of new standards in the food supply system; improvement of the system of material supply; timely and complete logistics and full logistics support for soldiers at the front.

His experience will help bring the logistics system logistics system in line with the real requirements of modern warfare

Since 2019, Polovenko has held the position of Head of the Logistics Department of the National University of of Defense of Ukraine. He took part in hostilities and is a candidate of military of Military Sciences.
