Until the end of December, 95 Christmas tree fairs will be open in Kyiv to sell conifers and decorations. All trees are chipped and have special labels to verify their origin.
Until December 31, 95 Christmas tree fairs selling natural conifers and Christmas decorations will be open in Kyiv, UNN reports citing KCSA.

At official Christmas tree fairs, all trees are chipped, so it allows to trace their origin and protect consumers from buying illegally cut trees.
In addition, each tree has a self-adhesive label with an individual number and barcode. Information about the tree can be checked at open.ukrforest.com.

As previously reported, Ukraine has launched a "Christmas tree campaign" to sell 200,000 Christmas trees from official plantations. Each legal tree will have a special tag with a barcode, and prices start at 135 UAH per meter.
