Over the past day, 260 combat engagements were recorded at the front; the enemy carried out 78 airstrikes and used more than 10,000 kamikaze drones. The largest number of attacks — 26 — took place in the Pokrovsk direction.
On the front over the past day, August 12, 204 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded. The enemy launched 78 airstrikes, dropped 260 guided aerial bombs, and used more than 10,000 kamikaze drones. The General Staff reports, UNN writes.
Yesterday, the enemy launched 78 airstrikes, during which it dropped 260 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,066 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,089 shellings of populated areas and our troops’ positions
The enemy shelled the populated areas of Korenok, Shpyl, Bezzalivka, Seredyna-Buda, Yastrubshchyna, Ulanove, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Bachivsk, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Shalyhyne in Sumy region; and Kryvusha, Kamin, and Mykhalchyna-Sloboda in Chernihiv region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three artillery systems, and an ammunition depot.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk fronts, our defenders stopped four enemy assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor launched an airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and carried out 52 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanskyi front, Ukrainian units repelled nine enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near the populated area of Starytsia and toward the populated areas of Vilkhuvatka and Kolodiazne.
On the Kupiansk front , the enemy carried out one offensive action toward Novoplatonivka.
Attempts to breach our defenses were repelled on the Lyman front, where the occupiers attacked four times toward the populated area of Novoselivka and near the populated area of Zarichne.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy carried out 21 assault actions near the populated areas of Riznykivka, Zakitne, and Kryva Luka and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, the occupiers attacked twice near Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.
On the Kostiantynivka front, 19 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations near the populated areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward the populated areas of Dovha Balka and Toretske.
The enemy carried out twenty-six attacks on the Pokrovsk front. The occupiers attempted to advance near the populated areas of Nove Shakhove, Dorozhnie, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward the populated areas of Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Ivanivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the invaders carried out three attacks toward Novyi Zaporizhzhia.
On the Huliaipole front, the occupiers attacked 14 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the populated areas of Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Rivne, Verkhnii Tersa, and Novoselivka.
On the Orikhiv front, our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance toward Novoiakovlivka and Prymorske.
On the Dnipro front, our defenders successfully stopped three assault actions in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
