Over the past day, 256 combat engagements occurred on the front. The most assaults were recorded in the Slavyansk (33 attacks) and Pokrovsk (30 attacks) directions.
256 battles took place on the front over the past day, with the highest number of assault actions recorded on the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning update on July 6, showing a map of hostilities, UNN writes.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 96 airstrikes, during which it dropped 292 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 8,825 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,913 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, including 37 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy's airstrikes affected the areas of the settlements of Ulanove and Tovstodubove in Sumy region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck fourteen areas of concentration of enemy personnel and three artillery systems.
Situation by directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy stormed the positions of the Defense Forces twice. At the same time, the aggressor carried out one airstrike using one guided aerial bomb and conducted 48 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.
Ukrainian units in the South-Slobozhanskyi direction repelled twelve enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance near Starytsia and Vilcha, as well as in the direction of Lyman, Radkivka, Khatnie, Izbystske, and Sheviakivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked twice towards Novoosynove and Novoplatonivka.
Attempts to penetrate our defense were repelled in the Lyman direction, where the occupiers attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Stavky and Dibrova, as well as in the direction of Hrekivka and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out 33 assault actions, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, as well as in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction over the past day, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
In the areas of the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Ploshchivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultyne and Stepanivka in the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out sixteen attacks.
The highest number of assault actions was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where our defenders stopped thirty attacks. The enemy showed activity near Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Serhiivka, as well as in the direction of Myrne, Novopavlivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Novopidhorodne, Kucherovyi Yar, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Dorozhnie, Hryshyne, and Udachne.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders carried out four attacks in the direction of the settlements of Voskresenka, Novohryhorivka, Oleksandrohrad, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole direction, the occupiers attacked 21 times. The enemy tried to advance near Rybne, Zaliznychne, and Novoselivka, as well as in the directions of Charivne, Pryvilne, Hirke, Rizdvianka, and Kopany.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped one attempt by the enemy to advance in the direction of Plavni.
In the Dnipro direction over the past day, the enemy did not conduct assault actions.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
