115 out of 124 Russian drones neutralized over Ukraine

On the night of May 22, air defense forces shot down and suppressed 115 out of 124 enemy drones. Seven drone strikes were recorded, along with falling debris in ten locations.

Russia launched 124 drones at Ukraine overnight, 115 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Friday, UNN writes.

According to the AFU Air Force, on the night of May 22 (from 18:00 on May 21), the enemy attacked with 124 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered ones), Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" type decoy drones from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, and Hvardiiske – TOT of the AR of Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 115 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types in the north, south, and east of the country. Hits by 7 strike UAVs were recorded at 5 locations, as well as the falling of downed drones (debris) at 5 locations
The attack is ongoing; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
